How did you feel and what conclusions did you make as Lucy changed from an ideal Victorian woman to a demonic Vampire?
I felt like there were too major of a change because Lucy was Victorian woman who changed into a vampire. On page 56, on the number 5 annotation it says," Lucy's girlish use of italics and her preoccupation with flirting and marriage announce that unlike Mina, she is traditional Victorian lady, cared and frivolous, not a working woman." But since I am a vampire I would need to feed on blood to survive, which means that I can't act like a lady. I didn't like to hurt people who are smaller than me but I had no choice and have to hurt others.
Are Lucy's acts justified when she sucks children's blood in the form of a vampire? (Think about possible connections to Jekyll and Hyde)
This should be justified since human and I am very different and I guess I had no choice. Hurting someone might seem wrong from the human's point of view but from vampire and Dracuala's point of view, it seems correct to drink blood. Even if it sounds very mean, us vampire feed on blood to survive and I think it should be justified. Having humans eating food to live, I drank blood to survive like them. Also everyone is able to tell that I am a weak woman who usually would have needed to depend on a guy to do things for her. I had no other choice but children.
